Top Dog Dies meets Curtain Call Challenge

Happy Monday...hope everyone had a good weekend and found some time to make a card or two.  I've been busy working on some cards for my new design team assignment with Top Dog Dies.  I was so lucky to receive a great big package of dies to work with and today I am sharing my first card.  This week Top Dog Dies is sponsoring the Curtain Call Challenge with the theme Birthday Bash.
Top Dog Dies has a ton of dies to choose from absolutely perfect for birthday projects, but since I always try to make the most of my dies...today I am using dies that come from non-birthday sets.  Are you curious?  Take a look:

Every birthday party needs some colorful balloons and that is what I thought of when I saw the bright, cheery colors of the inspiration photo.  I made a little faux washi tape using torn patterned paper strips (Echo Park That's My Boy Collection).  I added the medium size photo frame from Top Dog Dies Photo Mat Dies.  No matter what size frame you need for a project...you will be sure to find the perfect size included in this die set.  I used the heart border included with the Top Dog Dies Baby On Board Die Set and added small strips of coordinating card stock behind it.  Those cute balloons?  They also come from a variety of Top Dog Die sets...the star, heart and button are from Top Dog Dies Diaper Card Finisher Die Set.  The sweet butterfly and balloon strings are from Top Dog Dies Butterfly Finishers Die Set.   Doesn't that butterfly trail make a great balloon string?

You still have time to play along with the Curtain Call Challenge...you have the chance to win some great Top Dog Dies too if your card is chosen as the Lead or Show Stopper, so get busy and don't forget to visit the Top Dog Dies shop...lots and lots of great dies there just waiting for you to place your order!

Oh this is just so fun Cathy. Love the background you created with strips of paper, and how crisp and clean the die cut ribbons look. A button balloon? How cute, and that dimensional butterfly too!

What a fun and fabulous card. I love all the creative ways you used your new dies. I was wondering about that fabulous balloon string, and was so surprised to read that it is from a butterfly. Such a great idea.
